As we all know, PE film combined with different materials can meet various functional requirements. It is not limited to the packaging of common potato chips, daily necessities, and other items. Instead, it can also be used for food packaging that requires high-temperature sterilization.

In general, high-temperature sterilized foods, mostly meat snacks, are packaged directly. To ensure hygiene, non-toxicity, and sterility, the packaging bags undergo a special sterilization process before leaving the factory. This process ensures that the food does not spoil quickly and has an extended shelf life.

To make a film that can withstand high-temperature sterilization, different materials are compounded with PE film. These materials include PET (polyester)/PE, BOPA (nylon)/PE, PET/AL (aluminum foil)/PE, etc. When PE film is combined with other materials, it can withstand sterilization treatment at a temperature up to 106°C. The film does not delaminate or leak, has high heat sealing strength, good puncture resistance, high impact resistance, and printability. The printed packaging is exquisite and beautiful, and even foods with a lot of oil can maintain good oil resistance.

This film can only support temperatures up to 106°C and is thus called a boiled sterilization film. It is more suitable for boiling sterilization. Wastewater boiled at 100°C can kill all bacteria after 5 minutes. The general disinfection time for propagules is 10 minutes. This film is not only used to sterilize packaging bags but is also commonly used to disinfect general surgical instruments, hoses and syringes, drinking water, and tableware.
